Also, you can use playdate simulator, available here as a part of SDK: https://play.date/dev/

After the SDK is installed, you should be able to just double click on the .PDX file. It should automatically open in the Playdate simulator.

Or you can open the Playdate Simulator from the SDK folder, then select File -> Open, and then choose the .PDX file.
